BMC Encores! is proud to present this video reprise of Bellingham Burlesque of 1927, our intoxicating cabaret musical that played to sold-out houses in 2017.
Bawdy? Slapstick? Ludicrous? It wouldn’t be Burlesque any other way. Step back to 1927, when a threadbare Burlesque troupe has come to Prohibition-era Bellingham for an engagement in a failing vaudeville theater, opening on the same night as the Mount Baker Theater across town. A battle for local chorus girls ensues. Things get hot on stage and off. And low comedy and high friction end in a “revealing” act of desperation.
This video was recorded at the dress rehearsal on October 3, 2017, at The Firehouse Performing Arts Center. Enjoy Bellingham Burlesque of 1927 on Youtube! https://youtu.be/5OUEdQf8pYs
