Once again, violinist Grant Donnellan invites us to join him on another journey! If you have been on Grant’s musical travelogues over the past few years, you know how illuminating and entertaining they are!
This year, he explores the rich musical traditions of his personal Nordic heritage. He and pianist Judith Widrig have curated a selection of beloved works by major Scandinavian composers, as well as “discoveries” you may not have heard before.
Come to the free program preview on Wednesday, February 5, 10:30am, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 119 Texas Street, or better; enjoy the full-length Night Beat, on Friday, February 7, 7:30pm, at First Congregational Church, 2401 Cornwall Avenue. For the evening program, no ticket purchase is required, and all students are free; we suggest a $20 donation for others.
