To conclude our “Music to Your Ears” season:

In June, celebrated baritone Richard Hodges brings our “Music to Your Ears” season to a close. Dr. Hodges has put together two programs with a considerable amount of variety and a wide scope. You will want to attend both the matinee AND Night Beat!

Our free program with Dr. Hodges and acclaimed pianist Jay Rozendaal is on Wednesday, June 4, 10:30am, at Trinity Lutheran Church, and includes works by Verdi, Ravel, Gershwin and Margaret Bonds.  This is BMC’s gift to the community!

BMC Night Beat is on Thursday, June 5, 7:30pm at First Congregational Church. This longer program includes works by Verdi, Vaughan Williams, Margaret Bonds, Nathaniel Dett, and Dr. Hodges.

Special guests for Night Beat only: soprano Heather Dudenbostel joins Hodges and Rozendaal for a Mozart aria and a song by Stephen Sondheim, and Eli Schille-Hudson comes in to perform a song cycle for baritone and guitar by John Rutter.

No ticket purchase is required for Night Beat (we suggest a $20 donation), and students are always free. All are welcome!
