BMC announces 2014-2015 Season

The BMC 99th season opens on Wednesday, September 3, with two concerts celebrating the Donnellan dynasty! In the morning, enjoy music for the violin – solos and duets with Grant and Glenn Donnellan – FOR FREE! Later that evening, Night Beat reprises part of the matinee program and includes special treats: Joanne Donnellan playing the Hardanger (Norwegian traditional fiddle) and Glenn playing on his custom “Electric Slugger” bat-violin! Guaranteed delights!

In all, the 2014-2015 season will offer 9 free Wednesday morning concerts plus 6 Night Beat concerts on select Thursdays, and sponsor 5 competitions for music students, and a benefit concert: the “Young Musicians of Whatcom County” showcase. This year, Night Beat will be aligned with the Wednesday morning concerts as much as possible, giving you a choice of one-hour, free, daytime programs or full-length, ticketed, evening events. Additionally, on June 21, 2015, the BMC will inaugurate its Centennial with an all star-gala concert featuring over a dozen award winners. Plan on joining us!
