June 2023 – The “King of Instruments” provides a grand finale to our Concerts à la Carte season!
May 2023 – Our 3rd student showcase features winners of the WWU Music Competition. And an added program, when cellist Colin Carr and pianist Thomas Sauer play sonatas by Bach, Schubert, Debussy and Britten. See bios and program here.
April 2023 – Our matinee program features winners of BMC H.S. competitions for piano and voice.
March 2023 – Our first showcase of 2023 features winners of BMC H.S. String and Winds/Percussion competitions.
February 2023 – A long-awaited program for guitar!
December 2022 – A joyous conclusion to 2022 with a trio of accomplished musicians from WWU: Lisa McCarthy, flute, Gustavo Camacho, horn, and Rachel Roulet, piano.
Nov 2022 – Violinist Grant Donnellan and pianist Judith Widrig take us from the Baltic to the Black Sea with “Elegies, Melodies and Lullabies.”
Oct 2022 – Soprano Ibidunni Ojikutu and pianist Rebecca Mañalac bring Moments of Sonder to life, a song cycle by B.E. Boykin set to poetry by Maya Angelou. And in a special Night Beat in the afternoon, cellist Elinor Frey delighted our audience at the Squalicum Boathouse. See her bio and program here.
Sept 2022 – BMC opens its “Concerts à la Carte” season with Gabriel and Rebecca Mañalac playing French works for piano four hands!
June 2022 – Our “Play On!” season ends with Baroque fireworks!
May 2022 – Pianist Milica Jovanovic plays giants of the keyboard repertoire and women composers who are just getting the recognition they deserve!
April 2022 – Once again, we welcome our WWU Competition winners in performance!
March 2022 – Our first in-person winners showcase concert in two years!
December 2021 – We prepare to say farewell to 2021 with glorious Renaissance music!
November 2021 – Grant Donnellan and Judith Widrig present the first installment of their “Trip to Europe” series featuring Great Britain!
October 2021 – Our 2021-2022 season continues as we mark the return of Night Beat!!!
