The BMC recently held auditions to award coveted annual prizes in two categories. Congratulations to:
William Z., Charles S., Max S. and Ethan F., winners of the H. S. Piano Competition in honor of Nancy Bussard, and Aaron M., Carmen S., Sydney G. and Anya G., winners of the H. S. Vocal Competition in honor of Jack & Ginny Frymire.
These outstanding young musicians will perform on Wednesday morning, February 7, 10:30 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 119 Texas Street. Join us for Anniversary Coffee Hour at 9:30 in the atrium. Free and open to the public.
Additionally, the top 3 placers of each category are invited to enter the new Whatcom Symphony H.S. Concerto Competition which will take place on February 24. The winner will perform with the WSO at the May 2018 Educational Concert. Go to www.whatcomsymphony.com/ for details.
