We kick off 2026-2027 season with Three in Conversation: From Courtly Grace to Hungarian Rhythm, presented by the Bellingham String Trio.
Featuring violinist Shu-Hsin Ko, cellist Coral Merchant and violist Yuko Watanabe – all three Bellingham Symphony musicians and beloved local educators – the program journeys across Europe and across time. The trio contrasts classical refinement with vivid folk tradition through works by Boccherini, Beethoven, and Leó Weiner, a Hungarian master who seamlessly bridged Romantic tradition with rich Hungarian folk idioms.
