April brings award winning students from Western Washington University to the BMC stage!
Winners from the BMC competition for WWU students in honor of Virginia Glover come together in concert for a Night Beat filled with emotion and artistry, Thursday, April 7, 7:30 pm at First Congregational Church, 2401 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham. Tickets for Night Beat are $15; free for WWU students with I.D. card. Special offer: 3 concerts for $30. See details on panel at right.
Pianist Daniel Chong, percussionist Silas Stewart, violinist Emily Pontén, and pianist Gabija Vaičekonis are joined by 2015 competition winner, sensational saxophonist David Hoogkamer. Chong, Stewart, Pontén, and Vaicekonis will also offer a daytime performance, on Wednesday April 7 at 10:30 am at Trinity Lutheran. All are welcome; the concert is free and open to the public.
