In May, we welcome WWU professor and renowned pianist Milica Jelača Jovanović for two recitals. Described as a “a brilliant performer” and “a pianist of great energy and charisma,” Dr. Jelača Jovanović has performed in solo recitals and chamber music concerts throughout the United States, Canada and Europe, including her native Serbia.
Join us and enjoy Milica’s exceptional artistry and virtuosity! Our one hour-long matinee is on Wednesday, May 4 starting at 10:30, followed by the full-length BMC Night Beat, on Friday, May 6 at 7:30pm. Both recitals will take place at First Congregational Church, 2401 Cornwall Ave. in Bellingham.
As always, the matinees are free and open to the public; they are BMC’s gift to the community! Tickets for Night Beat are $20; they are on sale online on Brown Paper Tickets , at Village Books in Fairhaven, and at the door before the concert. Take a teen for free – and all students with I.D. are free too!
At this time, we still require you to show proof of vaccination and wear a mask. These measures go a long way in making us all feel safe! Thank you for working with us.
